Recently, the famous YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia took to his social media handle to reveal that he is ready to begin the next chapter of his life and career. Following his controversial remark on the ‘India’s Got Latent Show,’ he has made a comeback with his new podcast series of TRS, and for his first episode, he invited Palga Rinpoche , the millionaire who sold his Maserati and turned Monk for inner peace.

Who is Palga Rinpoche?Palga Rinpoche is recognized as the 8th Chokyong Palga Rinpoche. He was identified as a reincarnated lama, in the Drukpa lineage of Tibetan Buddhism at a very young age. Born in Ladakh, until the age of 18, Palga’s spent his life relatively normally with his family. Back then, he balanced traditional education with spiritual training.

Palga Rinpoche’s inclination towards the world of technology
There was a time when Pagla Rinpoche left the monastery as he felt a strong inclination towards the world of technology and business. He was only 18 when he went to Europe to master skills in computer programming and create an empire. He was blessed with financial success as well, but the materialistic things didn’t offer him internal happiness and satisfaction. Thus, he donated his total earnings and returned to his spiritual roots.

Palga Rinpoche reconnected with his spiritial roots
After returning to India, Palga resumed his role as a monk. He embarked on a mission to promote Buddhism, for which he gave engaging public speeches and held interactive sessions. He focused on the significance of inner peace, compassion, and mindfulness. His teachings often stress the fleeting nature of the material world and the value of spiritual growth over material wealth. His initiative brought him a lot of recognition.

Palga is actively involved in various public and educational events, where he shares his thoughts on spirituality and mental health. He captivates his audiences with deep yet relatable insights, advocating for a balanced approach to life that integrates both material and spiritual interests.

Ranveer Allahbadia and Palga Rinpoche
Ranveer, before welcoming Palga Rinpoche to his comeback podcast, shared a small clip where he mentioned that the respective Buddhist Monk is his mentor. The episode that recently got released was shot when Ranveer was still amid the controversy but was aired later. Ranveer said he always sought advice from Palga Rinpoche in his darkest days, and he helped him through several challenges, and thus, he wanted the first episode of a new chapter of TRS to happen with him.
