' is forced to deal with a major setback after his theatre tour was cancelled due to poor ticket sales. The broadcaster was scheduled to kick off his first live event on March 11, but due to the low demand, organisers pulled the plug on the entire event.
This comes as a devastating blow to the 65-year-old as he first announced the tour in December and was supposed to be joined by GB News' sports journalist, Paul Coyte. According to a source via : "Eamonn was really looking forward to the show. He loves interacting with the public and meeting fans. But ticket sales just weren't there. It's been a tough time for him personally, and this is another disappointment to deal with."
Eamon first announced the live tour on Instagram last year, and it was due to kick off in Radlett, Hertfordshire, with tickets selling at £40.
The show was titled Things We Like! With Eamonn and Paul. It also had meet and greet opportunities were also available for long-time fans of the presenters.
The star informed his 780K followers with a photo of their poster and penned: "Coming your way soon and in theatres around the Country. Maybe the perfect last-minute Christmas gift."
However, before the axe made headlines, Eamonn revealed there was a change to the plans without explanation.
Last week he said: "Working with my mates @Coytey67 and Deano on our soon to be released podcast/videocast Things we Like today.
"Hoping you like the same things. Will keep you posted re-launch date."
This comes as the presenter continues to navigate his high-profile break-up with Loose Women star Ruth Langsford after confirming they were headed for divorce in May 2024.
