A fierce fire broke out in a detergent factory located near Rajkot city of Gujarat on Tuesday, in which a firefighter was injured. Rajkot Chief Fire Officer Amit Dave said that the fire started in a three -storey factory located in Devalia area. At the moment, the cause of the fire has not been known.
Amit Dave said that the fire was controlled after nearly four hours of effort. He said that the chemicals kept in the barrel in 'JK Cottage Factory' exploded, causing the fire to spread rapidly.
Detergent, washing powder and soap were made in the factory. The castor and pine oil barrels used for this were also hit by fire and exploded. Amit Dave said that a fire worker was injured while extinguishing the fire. He said that eight fire engines and 60 firefighters were deployed to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
