‘WE USED TO SEE SO MANY GREAT KANNADA NOVELS TURNED INTO FILMS’
Speaking on the challenges of adapting a novel into a film, Kishan adds, “I’ve done my due diligence, so I’m confident about taking on this adaptation. I’m dedicated to staying true to the novel’s heart. It’s really about how we shape the screenplay to make it work for a modern audience. We used to see so many great Kannada novels turned into films, but that trend seems to have faded. Bhavannakka has put her faith in me with this project. My background as an actor and in different parts of filmmaking has been a huge help.”
