The true beginnings of April Fool's Day remain a puzzle, though it resembles ancient celebrations like Rome's Hilaria and India's Holi festival. In the present day, even big brands and online entities jump on the bandwagon, crafting clever hoaxes to showcase their products in a humorous light.

Last year, broadcaster Jeremy Vine got in on the fun with a video featuring a hawk attacking his drone over Hyde Park. Meanwhile, Gymbox, a trendy London gym chain, introduced Gymbarx, a fitness class designed for dogs and their human companions.
