Just a few months later, it appears his stance on looking for love has changed. A source told that Labbett feels ready for a new chapter in his life and is searching for romance on Celebs Go Dating.
The insider told the outlet: "Everyone loves the Chasers and The Beast has a big fan base of his own. Nearly a year on from his split, Mark is ready to find the one."
The upcoming season of Celebs Go Dating promises to showcase a different side of Labbett, as he steps away from his formidable TV persona to reveal his softer side.
He is said to be "intrigued" to find out how the show's matchmakers, and , will guide him through new dating experiences. Mark Labbett's representative declined to comment.

Palmer was shocked by the split as they had talked about moving in together while on just days prior. She added: "The phone went from my hands, I just hung up on him. I ended up walking around for three hours not knowing where I was going.
"He'd already suggested that we move in together, and it was a risk I was willing to take because I really loved him and believed we had a future together." The presenter admitted she was in a "bad place" after the break up and "didn't even want to get out of bed" for days afterwards.
