Jaya Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan who have been married for over four decades have inspired generations and given them relationship goals. Jaya has always been a strong woman when it comes in terms of sharing opinions strong views and taking a stand for her family. In 1972 when Jaya and Amitabh were dating she had taken stand for him on the sets of Bawarchi when a superstar asked her not to waste her time with Bachchan. The superstar reportedly said that Amitabh had no future in the film industry. Jaya was surprised and angry after hearing the superstar’s comments. She replied back saying that the person whom he is shouting at would rule the industry one day. She cursed Khanna that one day you will see where he will be. It was Rajesh Khanna aka Kaka who said these things to Jaya Bachchan. At that time Rajesh was a superstar and Amitabh was a voice over artist who used to narrate titles and credits in the films. Later her words turned out to be true - Amitabh Bachchan rose to prominence in Bollywood and marked a significant shift in the industry effectively ending Rajesh Khannas dominance.
