It has been seen many times in the film industry that the hero plays the role of a father of a child who is slightly younger than him. Similarly a famous actor of cinema Aman Verma was also offered such a role in which he had to play the father of a heroine who was only 10 years younger than him. And today he regrets playing that role even though that film emerged as a big blockbuster. Actor Aman Verma is a well-known name in the television industry. He became famous in every household after appearing in Bigg Boss 9 but these days he is rarely seen on screen. There was a time when Amans popularity was not limited to the small screen but he has also been seen in many Bollywood films such as Sangharsh Jaan-e-Mann Baabul and many others. But he considers doing a family film as a major mistake in his career. However his best performance is said to be in Amitabh Bachchan starrer Baghban. But the actor does not agree with this on the contrary he considers Baghban a big mistake. The film became the 5th highest grossing film of 2003 and people like every scene and song of it. Aman told a leading daily a few years ago I think Baghban was the biggest mistake of my career. Initially this role was supposed to be done by someone else and then I joined it. It was the role of a man who has a grown-up daughter. In the interview he said Baghban came in 2003 and I was 31 years old at that time. I was playing the role of Rimi Sens father. I could not refuse it because I was very close to Ravi Chopra. I had done many projects with him. He further added Aman further says After becoming a part of Baghban people thought that I am a mature person and after that I started getting only fathers roles. In such a situation the actors image started being considered a bit old. He added I agree that earlier I was heavy so I looked quite old. Today at the age of 44 I look younger and people usually say that it is the opposite happening with me. Overall it was a film with Mr Bachchan and I could not refuse. I asked Ravi to offer me the role of the younger brother but he knew that I would be able to do justice to the character of Ajay. Currently Aman Verma is 53 years old and he keeps sharing posts of his memorable trips on social media every day.
