JEE Main 2025: Follow these strategies to avoid negative marking

Negative marking is a major challenge in JEE Main exam. There is a deduction of one mark for each wrong answer. That is why if you do not know the correct answer to a question, skip it. Answering based on guesswork can lead to losing more marks.

Also in multiple-choice questions, try to eliminate the wrong options. If you can eliminate two wrong options, it will be easier to select the correct answer. If you are not able to eliminate any option, it would be better to skip the question.
