Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has released recruitment for the posts of Deputy Statistical Officer/Block Statistical Officer. The application process has started from April 1. Interested candidates can apply for these posts till April 21 by visiting the official website of the commission bssc.bihar.gov.in.

The commission has invited applications for recruitment to a total of 682 posts. Candidates can apply for these posts on or before the prescribed last date. Applying candidates should keep in mind that the last date for depositing the application fee is April 19. Application has to be done in online mode.

BSSC SSO Recruitment 2025: Who can apply?

Candidates applying for these posts should have a graduation degree in Economics/Mathematics/Statistics from any recognized university. At the same time, the age of the applicant should be between 21 to 37 years as of August 1, 2024. Candidates of the reserved category have also been given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules of the government.

BSSC SSO Vacancy 2025: Application Fee

Male candidates of General, OBC, EBC category and applicants from outside Bihar state will have to pay an application fee of Rs 540. At the same time, the application fee for SC and ST (Bihar State) / PWD / Female candidates is Rs 135.
