Ajay Devgan and Sonali Bendre's film 'Jakhm' came in the year 1998. At the same time, Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal's film 'Hera Pheri' was released in 2000. In 'Hera Pheri', Gulshan played a criminal Kabira. He told that he was working together on both films in those days. He had decided for 'Hera Pheri' from 7 to 12 in the morning. From 1 o'clock, he had to go to play the role of Sardar in Mahesh Bhatt and Ajay Devgan's film 'Jakhm'.

Gulshan Grover revealed that when he reached the set of 'Hera Pheri', the makers told that he could not start the shoot before 12 o'clock. Because he needed the sun for some special scene. Before 12 o'clock, it could not be possible in those days. In such a situation, the makers insisted him that they cannot go before 12 o'clock every day. In such a situation, it became difficult for Gulshan to shoot 'Wound'. In the midst of this confrontation, he finally had to leave 'wounds'.
Gulshan could not understand what to do in this situation? He talked to Mahesh Bhatt and finally Mahesh advised him to keep 'Hera Pheri' on priority. Gulshan may have left 'wound', but now he said that if he had worked in that film, it would have been very important for him.
