Vicky Kaushal 's historical drama Chhaava is nearing the end of its box office run. The film that has been raking in the big bucks over the past 7 weeks, saw a major dip in numbers as its collections fell under the Rs 1 crore mark for the first time this week.

After hitting the Rs 590 crore mark over its seventh weekend, the film saw a major dip in numbers on Tuesday, earning approximately Rs 52 lakh on its 48th day in theatres. This brings the film's total domestic net collection to around Rs 594.88 crore, according to sacnilk.com.

Meanwhile, reports on boxofficeindia, claim that the film's gross collection has surpassed the Rs 700 crore mark, with a worldwide gross total inching close to Rs 800 crore.

Despite the gradual decline in daily earnings, Chhaava has solidified its position as one of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2025. It has also become lead actor Vicky's highest-grossing film to date, beating out 'Uri: The Surgical Strike'.

As the theatrical run winds down, fans can anticipate the film's digital release. Reports suggest that Chhaava is slated to premiere on Netflix on April 11, 2025, allowing fans to experience the epic from the comfort of their homes. However, an official confirmation from the streaming platform is awaited.

Chhaava, directed by Laxman Utekar, features Vicky Kaushal in the titular role, alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna .

Following a wave of controversy and the film being blamed for the recent Nagupr violence, promotions for the film have been kept to the minimum. The downward trend has also been linked to the releases of the Salman Khan starrer Sikandar which hit screens on March 30.

On the work front, Vicky has moved on to his next film project, Sanjay Leela Bhansali 's 'Love and War' which will see him reuniting with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt .
