' Mannat ' gets a makeover
While Gauri Khan has been making moves in real estate and earning whopping profits, her family is also gearing up for a big change. Her iconic home with SRK, 'Mannat', is set for an extensive renovation that will take nearly two years. Reports suggest that the work will include the expansion of its annexe, adding two extra floors. The new construction will add about 616 square metres of space to the already grand home. Since the work is expected to take time, the Khan family has decided to move out temporarily.
SRK and family’s temporary move to Pali Hill
During the renovation, Shah Rukh, along with Gauri and kids, Aryan, Suhana and AbRam, will shift to Pali Hill. They have leased two luxury duplex apartments in the Puja Casa building, owned by producer Vashu Bhagnani ’s family. The apartments, spread across four floors (first, second, seventh, and eighth), cover approximately 10,500 square feet, almost half the size of 'Mannat'. While not as massive as their iconic bungalow, the space is still quite grand.
