The exam for the second session of JEE Main 2025 has started today, lakhs of candidates are taking their exams today in the examination center set up across the country. This exam will be conducted in several shifts from today i.e. April 2 to April 9. According to NTN, BE and BTech papers will be held on April 2,3,4,7 and 8, while the exam for B.Arch and B.Planning papers (Paper A and Paper B) will be held on April 9. NTA has already released the admit cards for the exam till April 4. In such a situation, before reaching the exam center, the students must know some rules of the exam which have been made by NTA, otherwise you may have to face trouble.

Students will have to take their admit card along with their Aadhar card to the exam centre. If they do not have an Aadhar card, they will have to take an undertaking with them, only then they will be allowed to sit for the exam. They can also take a transparent pen, photo, water in a transparent bottle.

What are the rules for wearing jeans?

It has been seen that students often go to give exams wearing jeans, so rules are made on jeans during some exams. So that JEE students do not get confused, we would like to tell you that you can wear jeans, but NTA had asked the students to wear comfortable clothes during the exam, there should not be big buttons on the clothes. Also, they were asked to avoid anything that may cause problems during checking.

What are the rules on toilet breaks?

However, NTA has made strict rules regarding toilet breaks. If any student is taking a toilet break in between, he or she will have to undergo checking again and pass through biometric attendance. This is clearly written in the admit card.

Dress Code Guidelines

NTA has also issued dress code guidelines to conduct the JEE Main 2025 exam peacefully and cleanly, although wearing any specific dress is not mandatory in this guideline, but to avoid discomfort in the investigation, wearing a simple and comfortable dress will be beneficial for you. It will be better if you wear clothes according to the weather. Also, do not wear any metal things or else you may face trouble in the investigation. Girls should avoid wearing stoles and scarves on their heads, this may delay them in the investigation. Also, it will be better if you do not wear any jewelry.
