This year the West Indies have to visit India under the new captain. In fact, recently, West Indies regular Test captain Craig Brathwaite resigned from the post of captaincy, after which he will visit India as a player. The first Test match between the guests West Indies and the host India will be played from 2 to 6 October at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. After this, the second Test will be played four days later i.e. between 10 and 14 October on the grounds of Eden Gardens in Kolkata. This series is going to be very important for India about the cycle of World Test Championship 2025-27 as India would like to win the series 2–0 and make a strong lead in the points table of the World Test Championship.
This year South Africa has to do a very long tour of India, where two Tests, three ODIs and five T20I matches will be played. The two -Test series will be held between India and South Africa first, whose first match will be played from 14 to 18 November at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. After this, the responsibility of hosting the second Test will be entrusted to Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati between 22 November and 26 November. The first ODI match will be played in Ranchi on 30 November after the end of the Test series. At the same time, the second ODI will be played on 3 December in Raipur and the third ODI will be played in Vijag (Visakhapatnam) on 6 December. After the ODI series is over, India will host five T20 matches.
The five T20I match between Team India and Protiaz will begin with a clash at Cuttack Stadium on 9 December. After this, the second T20 will be played on 11 December in Chandigarh. At the same time, hosting the third T20 will be seen doing Dharamshala Stadium on 14 December. After this, Protiaz will clash with India at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on December 17 and the series will end on December 19 with the fifth T20 match in Ahmedabad.
