Indian Tigers & Indian Tigress Campaign: ‘Special 28’ completed preparations, now turn two dhansu matches

'Special 28' young players selected under the campaign of News9 Indian Tigers and Tigrants have completed their preparations after hard training in Gumndan city of Austria. This team of 12 talented girls and 16 zealous boys was chosen among the best young talents selected from all over the country. Now on April 2, these young stars will play two important matches against Gumndan Football Academy.

The first match will be between the girls of the Indian Tigress (U-13) and the Gumndan Academy, while the second match will be played between the boys of Indian Tigers (U-15) and Gumndan Academy. Before the match, Indian young players worked hard in the final training session. Josh and enthusiasm could be seen clearly in the locker room, where these young stars were fully ready for their dreams. This journey has been very emotional for these young players, who traveled to Austria away from their family to fulfill their dreams. These young talents have benefited greatly from training under the supervision of top European coaches in Austria.

Out of 50,000 registrations from across the country, 10,000 children were selected for regional trials, but finally only 28 players were selected for this historic visit to Austria. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a historic farewell to these 'Special 28' young players at the 'What India Thinks Today' summit of TV9 on 28 March. These young champions reached Austria on March 30 and started training from the next day. Now these Indian tigers and tigers are fully prepared to enter the field against their European rivals. This match can prove to be an important stage not only for the career of these young players but also for the future of Indian football.
