Coconut Barfi is a delicious and simple dessert, especially made on festivals. You will need some ingredients to make coconut barfi at home. Today with the help of this article, we will tell you the easy way to make coconut barfi at home-
Material- 1 cup dry coconut (grated), 1 cup condensed milk, 1/4 cup sugar (can do more or less according to your choice), 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder, 1/4 teaspoon ghee (to set barfi, and to apply to the bottom).
Method of preparation-
- First, add 1/4 teaspoon of ghee to a non-stick pan or pan and heat it.
- Now, pour grated dry coconut pan and fry it on medium flame for 2-3 minutes so that the coconut becomes aromatic
Then, add condensed milk and sugar and mix well and cook on medium heat. Keep stirring the mixture continuously so that it does not burn. - When the mixture starts thickening and mixes coconut and milk well, then add cardamom powder and mix well.
- Now let the mixture cook for some more time (about 5-7 minutes), until it completely thickened and separates from the edges of the pan.
- Apply a little ghee in a tray or plate, put the prepared mixture in it and spread it with a spoon and level it. Now leave it for 1-2 hours to cool down.
- When the barfi becomes completely cold, cut it into small pieces.
