Thailand’s Ministry of Tourism and Sports has unveiled a new digital arrival card system, an online platform designed to replace the traditional paper-based TM.6 arrival form.
Starting May 1, 2025, all foreign travelers will be required to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card within 72 hours before entering the country, as reported by Nation Thailand.
The new system will allow travelers to pre-register and submit their personal details online, significantly reducing immigration processing times and improving overall efficiency at entry points.
To encourage widespread adoption, the Immigration Bureau has produced multilingual promotional materials, including brochures and videos in English, Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Japanese. These resources will help tourists on how to effectively use the system.
Thailand is targeting 38 million foreign visitors in 2025, following a record of more than 35.5 million tourists and generating 1.6 trillion baht in revenue in 2024.
