Mohammad Sharif Mohammad Salim Sheikh, also known as Guddu, was taken into custody by the Mankhurd police in Mumbai for delaying police work, acting inappropriately with a female officer, using profanity, and threatening to kill.

Around 11:15 p.m. on Sunday, the event happened close to the Ekvira Hotel Road in PMGP Colony, Mankhurd. The complainant, a 30-year-old female officer, lives in the Koparkhairane neighborhood of Navi Mumbai and works as a Police Sub-Inspector at the Mankhurd Police Station.

Reports state that Mohammad Sharif was operating a footwear shop in defiance of limitations while a special Mankhurd Police unit was on patrol in the area. He objected and began shouting with the cops when they told him to shut the store.

Despite the fact that the cops were in uniform, he and his wife, Kajal, continued to shove and abuse them. The pair persisted in their disruptive conduct in spite of several warnings. Sharif allegedly threatened the female officer and used foul language throughout the altercation, adding, “Many police officers like you have come and gone.” I’ll murder you if you tamper with me.

After then, the police used the appropriate force to arrest Sharif and his wife.

Following the lady officer’s complaint, Mankhurd police filed a case against the accused on a number of crimes, including intimidating a public worker, hindering government work, using profane language, and outrage a woman’s modesty. Mohammad Sharif, also known as Guddu, was taken into custody by police after the complaint was filed.

Investigations are still under progress.
