Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India]: Andy Flower, the head coach of Royal Challengers Bengaluru, thought Mohammed Siraj, the pace leader for the Gujarat Titans, was much superior to the others. He affirmed that the franchise is “happy” with the existing team and wished him all the “success” in the world.

Siraj returned to his old home when the Royal Challengers decided to cut ties with him, and he played a crucial role in compelling the hosts to concede their first loss of the year. As the Player of the Match, Siraj scored at crucial moments, had his old team tilt at windmills, and came back with a thumping 3/19 record.

RCB stumbled to 169/8 under his frugal but deadly spell, which was a poor total given Chinnaswamy’s lofty standards. Jos Buttler Sai Sudharsan’s batting burst in response helped GT win by an easy 8 wickets. After the game, Flower didn’t hold back from praising Bengaluru’s former hero, as GT easily destroyed RCB’s total and was a cock-a-hoop.

“Didn’t Siraj bowl very well? His being here and doing it is fantastic. He bowled a terrific stint with the new ball, in my opinion. His lengths were superb and his lines were tight. During the press conference after the game, Flower said, “He threatened the stumps a lot.”

From the start, the right-armer posed a danger and gained ground on Arshad Khan. The uncapped fast bowled with the seasoned speedster during the powerplay away from Bengaluru.

Following a disastrous beginning to his Titans career, Siraj has discovered the rhythm and groove with which he is so well-known. Sharply nipping the ball into Devdutt Padikkal, he cleared his stumps and opened his wicket’s account. His reign began when he launched the well-known Cristiano Ronaldo celebration.

He put the speed gun to the test in his subsequent over, hitting 144 kph and smashing through Phil Salt’s stance to clean him up and add another name to his list of wickets. In the last overs, he came back to attack and claimed his third wicket of the day, forcing Liam Livingstone (54), destroying RCB’s chances of reaching the 200-run milestone.

In a different situation, Siraj may have stayed longer in Bengaluru. Flower isn’t thinking about the chance she lost to keep Siraj. They are content with their existing circumstances, he confirmed.

“We all adore Siraj and hold him in the highest regard. We had a successful auction, I believe. I hope he has every success imaginable. We are pleased with our current team,” he said.

Flower tracked down the exact time his team made the first step toward loss, apart from Siraj’s blazing spell. He drew attention to their aggressive powerplay strategy, which backfired and cost them four wickets, dropping them to 38/3. Flower, however, drew attention to the Titans’ defensive strategy, which gave them a cushion of wickets in the latter stages.

“You could see they played more cautiously in powerplay and attempted to hold onto wickets when they came out chasing a lower score than what is typical at Chinnaswamy. We lost four wickets during the powerplay despite playing aggressively. That was undoubtedly a significant swing in the game. “You are usually in trouble if you lose in the powerplay,” he remarked.

“The powerplays differed greatly. After the powerplay, we scrapped rather well, in my opinion. The toss was, in my opinion, rather significant. There was a good deal of dew outside. The dry ball did, in my opinion, grip off the seam, and in the circumstances of the game, I believe it was rather significant. The ball shouldn’t have come so fast, but it wasn’t your average Chinnaswamy surface. “GT were sharper and played better than us,” he said.
