UPI Down: Complaints in UPI payment have come to the fore in recent days. People have again faced this problem late on Wednesday evening. People using PhonePe, GooglePay, Paytm and other UPI payment apps have faced problems. According to Downdetector, many users also had trouble making payments on SBI's platform. People were facing problems in transferring money, making payments, and using the app. Now NPCI's statement has also come out on this matter. The National Payments Corporation of India has said in an X post that UPI has had problems due to fluctuations in the success rate in some banks. These fluctuations increased the latency in the UPI network. NPCI is working closely with them and UPI is being stabilized.

People could not transfer money.

According to the data of Downdetector, a website reporting such outages, about 64 percent of the complaints were related to money transfers. 28 percent of the complaints were about problems in making payments. Many people were also struggling to use the app. SBI users also faced problems. SBI had faced an outage a day earlier and a large number of people were not able to complete their bank-related work.

People complained on social media.

People have also complained about UPI payment failure on social media. People have said that their payments failed. The app crashed. A user wrote that he tried to make a payment through Google Pay, but the payment failed. Money was deducted from the account, but the payment could not be made.

Even recharge payments failed.

Not only did people's payments fail, but people also faced problems with bill payment. Many people were not able to get their recharge done, for which they used Paytm or Google Pay. Users said that the Paytm app was crashing repeatedly and they were not able to make transactions. This problem has come to the fore for the second time in a week. Even then, NPCI had said that NPCI was facing technical problems, due to which there was a partial decline in UPI.
