You must have heard many success stories of poor coming from disadvantaged sections of societies and creating major business empires but here is a story of a entrepreneur who was born with a silver spoon but still decide to create his own identity with his business zeal and hard work. Mahaaryaman Scindia the son of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and heir to the Gwalior royal family is a person of great business zeal. He co-founded the agriculture startup MyMandi in 2022 along with his close friend Suryansh Rana. The most interesting part of this news update is that he launched the venture to establish his own identity despite his familys immense wealth. MyMandi was in news recently as the startup received achieved a revenue of $2.33M as on Mar 31 2024.
Mahaaryaman Scindias company MYMandi is a a startup which deals in the business of fresh fruits and vegetables. MYMandi works as company focusing on online aggregator to supply fruits and vegetables. As per Tracsn Mandi has raised $2.06M in funding from Real Time Accelerator Fund and LetsVenture with a current valuation of $8.12M. Notably late Ratan Tata was one of his investors.
For those unversed Mahaaryaman Scindia is a member of Scindia royal family and son of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. Aged 27 Aryaman lives in the Jaivilas Palace in Gwalior which is reportedly worth Rs 400 crore. Talking about his education Mahaaryaman Scindia completed his early education from Doon School like his father Jyotiraditya Scindia.
Will Mahanaryaman Scindia join politics?
Mahanaryaman Scindia had earlier said that he has no plans to join politics as of now. Instead the Union Ministers son is working towards starting a cricket league as per a report by news agency PTI.
“Politics certainly is a medium to bring change in society but right now I have no plans to enter politics” Scindia told the news agency few years back.
Mahanaryaman said that even just one person can bring a big change in society and for this he does not need to come into politics.
“Mahatma Gandhi single-handedly started a non-political revolution in South Africa and India” said Scindia whose father is the Union civil aviation minister.
