Abhishek Bachchan is one of the well-known actors in the Bollywood industry. Throughout his career he has delivered some hit films. However there was one movie that turned out to be the biggest disaster of his career flopping badly at the box office. Despite having big names including Jaya Bachchan Priyanka Chopra and Kay Kay Menon the movie was a disaster on the big screen. The film witnessed such low occupancy in theaters that it failed to recover its budget. While Abhishek played the lead role of a superhero the movie failed to impress the audience. The films special effects were worked on by EyeQube headed by Charles Darby and David Bush. Bachchans movie also showcased martial arts including Kalaripayattu Chhau Gatka and sword fighting. A total of 60 VFX experts worked on the film and it took them more than six months and 250 visual effects artists animators designers painters and developers to complete the movie. Despite being made with such care and experienced professionals the film failed to perform well in theaters. The budget of Drona was Rs 45 crore but it earned less than Rs 15 crore at the box office. Not only that but people also didn’t like the pairing of Abhishek and Priyanka on screen.
