The tea kettle has a unique design that allows steam to flow from the spout, turning it into a flute (bansuri). Raag Hamsadhwani is played on the flute while steam passes through it as the tea boils. This project transforms the mundane activity of making tea and listening to classical music into a memorable experience, all set against the serene background of Bhavani Island and the serene flow of the Krishna River.

While listening to the calm sounds of Indian classical music, guests may have a cup of Taj Mahal Tea at the Taj Mahal Tea House pop-up at the location. “Taj Mahal Tea is synonymous with the best Indian tea and great Indian classical music,” said Shiva Krishnamurthy, Executive Director of HUL. A great way to celebrate this is at the Taj Mahal Chai Bansuri.
