Officials are instructed to collaborate for Gangamma Jathara’s success

In order for the Tatayyagunta Gangamma Jathara, which is scheduled for the second week of May, to be conducted successfully, Municipal Commissioner Narapureddy Mourya asked the officials of different departments to cooperate.

On Thursday, the Commissioner met with representatives from the municipal planning, engineering, and health departments.

Enough preparations should be taken to guarantee that the thousands of devotees attending the one-week-long annual folk Goddess festival, Gangamma Jathara, have access to drinking water.

The outside and the whole temple complex should be maintained sanitized and clean. The engineering experts were ordered to make sure that the shrine and all of the roads that connect to it were properly lit.

The fire department should take all necessary precautions for safety, and the health department should provide the necessary number of first aid stations. To handle the traffic, the local planning agency should offer enough parking spaces. For the week-long Jathara to run smoothly and without causing any trouble to the devotees, prominent officials from different departments should cooperate. Here, it should be mentioned that Tatayyagunta Gangamma Jathara is one of the most well-known religious celebrations, drawing thousands of worshippers from both the district and beyond.
