The Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE has announced the dates of special exams for those students who appeared in the 10th and 12th board examinations and participated in national and international sports competitions.

CBSE has issued a notification for this on 2 April 2025. Special examinations for class 10th students will be conducted from 7 April to 11 April 2025. At the same time, this examination for class 12th students will be held on 11 April 2025.

CBSE has asked all the schools in this regard to inform the concerned students who could not take the board exam on time. The board also said that the examination centers will be the same which were already allotted to the students. Apart from this, new admit cards will have to be downloaded for such students. The board has made it clear that the students will need a new admit card before appearing in the examination.

When were the board exams conducted?

It is worth noting that CBSE conducted the class 10th board examination from 15 February to 18 March 2025. The class 12th board examination will start on 15 February and continue till 4 April 2025. This time about 44 lakh students were eligible to appear in CBSE class 10 and 12 examinations from 8,000 schools in the country and abroad.
