Each participating school will get specifically made science and astronomy kits as part of this initiative. More than 100 simple experiments designed to promote students’ active and experiential learning will be included in these kits.

According to Dr. Tejpreet Kaur, a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Space Department at IIT, “astronomy isn’t just about stargazing—it’s about understanding our place in the vast cosmos,” as reported by news agency ANI. The initiative will also implement astronomy-based activities and night-sky observation sessions in schools to further engage kids.

The objective is to provide kids access to free, high-quality scientific education, according to Prof. Sandeep Sangal, Principal Investigator of the Rozi Shiksha Kendra Project. Under this program, the State Bank of India has provided funding to support the establishment of scientific and astronomy clubs at the first ten government schools.
