Along the Yamuna River’s banks, next to the historic Shri Sujavan Dev Temple, a well-liked tourist destination and place of worship in Devariya hamlet of the Jasra development block in Prayagraj, a permanent ghat is planned.
Mahant Rajiv Giri Ji Maharaj, the village head of Deoria and Peethadheeshwar of Sujavan Dev, publicly requested a permanent bathing ghat from Prayagraj District Panchayat President Vivek Singh at the Yam Dwitiya fair. The plan has received the approval of the Panchayat President.
Rajesh Shukla, the Protocol Minister for the District Panchayat President, recently visited the site and verified that the ghat’s construction will shortly start. It was decided to construct a permanent ghat in order to enhance pilgrim amenities because of the high volume of devotees that visit the Sujavan Dev Temple every day, particularly during the Yam Dwitiya festival.
Alongside head priests Mahant Rajiv Giri Ji Maharaj and Gyanendra Goswami Ji Maharaj, engineers and authorities inspected the location close to the temple on Sunday, March 30. Rajiv Giri said that the timing would be finalized at a meeting on April 10 and that construction will then start.
