Dying For Sex has nearly landed on with an all-star cast as well as a heartbreaking and inspirational plot to draw subscribers in.

Based on the 2020 podcast of the same name, Dying For Sex follows Molly (played by Michelle Williams) who, after receiving her Stage IV cancer diagnosis, is determined to spend what time she has left, having the best sex of her life.

The eight-part comedy drama is dropping on Disney+ this week on Friday, 4th April, so ahead of its debut, here's everything there is to know about the cast.

Molly fought breast cancer two years prior but after suffering from a pain in her hip, it is discovered that it has metastasised to her bones and she is now terminally ill.

This diagnosis leads to her leaving her husband of 15 years in a bid to make the most of her life and explore her sexuality.

Award-winning actress Michelle Williams has starred in a plethora of unforgettable films during her career, including Brokeback Mountain, The Greatest Showman, Blue Velvet, Shutter Island and My Week With Marilyn which won her a Golden Globe Award.

Most recently, she starred in the coming-of-age period drama The Fabelmans which also won a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture drama in 2023.

After leaving her husband behind, Molly turns to her best friend Nikki for support to help with the day-to-day of dying.

While Nikki is eager to do anything she can to help Molly, it soon becomes clear that she is struggling.

Actress Jenny Slate has had roles in The Electric State, Married and Parks and Recreation but her biggest role to date has been as Allysa in Blake Lively's controversial It Ends With us.

Actor Rob Delaney is best known for co-creating and starring as Rob Norris in the sitcom Catastrophe, as well as Christopher in Bad Monkey and Peter Wisdom in Deadpool 2 and Deadpool and Wolverine.

Delaney is behind "Neighbour Guy", who has simply been described as "Molly's strangely magnetic neighbour".

Steve is Molly's husband who she leaves following her terminal cancer diagnosis.

He has supported her throughout her illness but Steve isn't giving her what she needs when it comes to her sexual awakening, although he continues to look out for his wife from the sidelines.

Actor Jay Duplass will be remembered for his roles in Jeff, Who Lives At Home, The Puffy Chair, Cyprus and Togetherness.

Actress Esco Jouley is reasonably new when it comes to onscreen roles, having been in High Maintenance, Blind Spotting, Station Of The Union and Netflix's Inventing Anna.

In Dying For Sex, Jouley is behind palliative care social worker Sonya who's there to give Molly emotional support and advice when it comes to exploring her sexual side.
