presenter Sarah-Jane Honeywell has announced her exit from her BBC Radio Lincolnshire and Humberside presenting gig in an emotional statement on Instagram. Confirming her last show is airing on Sunday after being on air for four years, she penned: "So sad it's my last 80's & 90's mixed tape show on @bbclincs & @bbchumberside this Sunday - but looking forward to a new chapter! No I am not going in to building houses (not getting my Cboobies out either)
"I just want to spend more time with my own boys Phoenix, Indiana & @aydencallaghan. I am also steadfastly trying to change the terrible current education system for the performing arts & through the @curioustheatre19 provide more opportunities for underprivileged kids wanting a career in the old showbiz.
"It's a big fight for little old me to take on but my with my new blonde locks I will give my best go! I will miss all my regular listeners terribly but like the terminator - I will be back! Thank you @bbclincs for giving me a second chance with the ... a feat only myself and the great Richard Bacon have managed I think.
"Make sure you tune in for my last show 2-6pm this Sunday on @bbclincs @bbchumberside @bbcsounds - let go out with bang old skool disco style!!! Whatever could go wrong."
Fans quickly rushed to the Instagram post to send her support, as one said: "Good luck, sarah Jane!" as another added: "Oh NO. Moving onto something new? Will miss you."
A third chimed in: "Onwards! Wishing you much joy in this next chapter. Bring back the #cboobies."
Sarah-Jane rose to fame as presenter on CBeebies! in 2006, but she landed in hot water with the BBC when she took part in a controversial photoshoot with celebrity photographer Marc de Groot's Facebook page, pouring Diet Coke over an almost see-through vest and posing wearing candyfloss "underwear". She later posed topless for PETA before leaving CBeebies in 2007. She later said she believed it was these racy photoshoots that led to her being let go from CBeebies.
