In the rape case of a juvenile reported in Pahadishareef in 2021, a man was sentenced to 10 years of hard jail on Friday by a fast-track court in Ranga Reddy district on child-related offenses.

The convict, Syed Haji Ali (43), an auto driver from Shaheen Nagar, Balapur, had confined, raped and threatened the girl, daughter of his friend. He was also fined Rs 15,000 by the court. It mandated that the sufferer get Rs 5 lakh in compensation. The Pahadishareef police filed a case and took Ali into custody in response to the girl’s accusation.

In the meanwhile, a 44-year-old man was found guilty of sexually abusing a youngster and given a severe 25-year term and a fine of up to Rs. 15,000 by the XII Additional Sessions Judge in Nampally. The kid had been sexually molested by the accused, Mothukari Sathyanaryana Chary, also known as Chinna, of Seetarambagh, Old Mallepally. Police filed a case after receiving the complaint. T. Anitha, XII Additional Sessions Judge, punished the accused for the offense U/Sec 5(m)(n) r/w 6 of the POCSO Act after carefully reviewing the police’s witnesses and documentary evidence. He will be subject to six months of simple jail if he doesn’t comply.
