The Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE will soon release the official notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test i.e. CTET July 2025 exam. Although the date and time of the exam is yet to be confirmed, it is expected that the CTET July 2025 exam will be conducted in the first week of July. The application process for this will start after the release of the notification. The notification will be released on the official website of CBSE ctet.nic.in, where you will get all the information from eligibility criteria to exam patterns.
Although usually the CTET application process starts in the first week of March, this year the notification has not been released yet. Last year the application process for CTET started on 7 March 2024 and closed on 4 April 2024. In such a situation, it is expected that CBSE will now release the notification soon and start the application process.
CTET July 2025 Application Fee: How much will be the application fee?
For the CTET December 2024 exam, an application fee of Rs 1000 was charged to the candidates of the General / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category. This fee was only for Paper I or Paper II, while an application fee of Rs 1200 was charged from General / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates for both Paper I and II. At the same time, SC / ST / Divyang candidates were charged Rs 500 only for Paper I or Paper II and Rs 600 for both Paper I and II. In such a situation, it is believed that the same application fee will be charged this time as well.

CTET July 2025 Apply: How to apply?
First of all, log on to the official website of CTET ctet.nic.in.
Then go to the 'Apply Online' link and open it.
After that, fill out the online application form and note down the registration number/application number.
Now the latest scanned photo and signature have to be uploaded.
After that, the examination fee has to be paid by debit/credit card and net banking.
Lastly, save the confirmation page.
CTET 2025 Exam Pattern: What will be the exam pattern?
The CTET July 2025 exam will have two papers. Both will have multiple choice questions (MCQs), for which four options will be available. Each question will be of one mark and there will be no negative marking for it. Paper I will be for those candidates who want to become teachers for classes 1 to 5, while Paper II will be for those candidates who want to become teachers for classes 6 to 8. Candidates who want to become teachers for both primary and upper primary levels (classes 1 to 5 and 6 to 8) will have to give both Paper I and Paper II.

One of the main features of the CTET exam is that the qualifying certificate is valid for life for all categories.
