There is not much time for Enzo Maresca to prepare his Chelsea team for their next encounter, with a trip to Brentford on Sunday afternoon - less than 72 hours after their win against Tottenham.
The held onto a 1-0 victory over Spurs on Thursday evening in way over 100 minutes of action, with a hefty amount of stoppage time being added on at Stamford Bridge after two lengthy VAR checks. There was a session on Friday and there will be another one today (Saturday) before the short trip to the Gtech Community Stadium for a tough challenge against the Bees.
Considering the less-than-three-day turnaround between the two matches, it makes life a bit more difficult for head coach when it comes to selecting his XI. So, with that being said, Bobby Vincent and Sam Truelove discuss and debate the personnel they would choose for Sunday's game if they had the luxury of making such decisions.

Bobby VincentChelsea, for the majority of the game, were very good against Tottenham. There seemed to be more control in possession - something Maresca always looks for but struggled to get before the international break. Spurs, barring their disallowed goal and the chance for towards the end, barely threatened at Stamford Bridge and that is testament to the control the Blues had.
For that reason, I would prefer to keep the team more or less as it is for the trip to Brentford but given the short turnaround, there needs to be some management in terms of minutes. did well and made a crucial save on the aforementioned Son opportunity, so he will keep his place in the side, with likely to be the goalkeeper for the trip to Poland a few days later.
did fine on Thursday. It was actually one of his better performances of the season, but he did play well over 100 minutes. should come back in for the Frenchman at right-back given the captain played a considerable amount less than his teammate. Next to James should be , and .
There was a slight concern with in the early stages of the win over Spurs but it looked as if he ran the injury off. Chelsea will be desperate for that to be the case given the Ecuadorian's importance to the side. next to Caicedo with the Argentine midfielder in superb form at the minute.
to replace on the right wing and Tyrique George in for on the opposite flank. Madueke is expected to come back into the side, while George making a start would be a big surprise but his form in recent games for the Blues warrants such a chance. in the No.10, playing just off .
Bobby's XI: Sanchez; James, Chalobah, Colwill, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Madueke, Palmer, George; Jackson.
Sam TrueloveBrentford have not won a Premier League game at home since beating Newcastle 4-2 at the Gtech Community Stadium on December 7. That will be just under four months when Chelsea make the short trip across the capital and Maresca will know his side have a decent chance of leaving with all three points.
If I were the Italian, I would look to start James at right-back. The Chelsea captain will be fresh after being benched against Tottenham on Thursday. I thought Chalobah and Colwill did alright against Spurs so the rest of the defence remains the same.
With out injured, I can't see Maresca changing one of Caicedo or Fernandez, either. Palmer is likely to play just in front of the pair once again and the Englishman will be hoping to build on his assist for Fernandez on Thursday night.
It was good to see Madueke make his return from injury in midweek and I would start the winger here, in place of Sancho. Neto can shift out to the left, with Jackson continuing in the striker role.
Sam's XI: Sanchez; James, Chalobah, Colwill, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Madueke, Palmer, Neto; Jackson.
