New Delhi . Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has launched a scathing attack on Congress on Friday. He said that his statement made in Startup Maha Kumbh has been misinterpreted. He said that the Congress party has tried to mislead the country's startup community. Goyal says that his message was taken positively by the youth and entrepreneurs of the country, but some social media handles of the Congress are deliberately raising controversy.

Goyal alleged that the Congress' system could not understand his message for the startup firms, which reflects his negative attitude. Goyal told reporters here, “My message for startup has been taken positively except for some social media handle of the Congress party. The Congress's social media handle is bent on creating controversy, while there is nothing like that. Overall, the response I received is that the young Indians are ready to capture the world.”

Goyal said on criticism of Congress
The minister's remarks came under the backdrop of the Congress and some startup criticism of his statement at the Startup Mahakumbh here on Thursday. In this program, Goyal asked the Indian startup community to focus his attention from making grocery supply and ice cream and focused on high -technology areas such as semiconductor, machine learning, robotics and artificial intelligence (AI).

The minister also questioned the Indian startup supplying food to convert unemployed youth into cheap labor. On this statement of Goyal, the Congress said on the social media forum X, “Piyush Goyal accepted India's startup struggles.” In another post, the Congress alleged that Goyal exposed the lie of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the startup.

Goyal said on Friday that his message should be seen in the context that the government has prepared a strong platform for the country's startup and on that basis the youth are ready and excited to make big jump and will move forward to touch new heights with confidence.
