Some actors have careers that are both fascinating and heartbreaking. They possess all the traits of a true star but just one wrong decision can disrupt their career forever. In this article we will share with you the story of one such actor who worked with several superstars did some big South movies yet one misstep changed the course of his journey forever. The actor we are talking about is Mirza Abbas Ali. He began his career as model in 1964 and later ventured into films marking his debut with the Tamil movie Kadhal Desam. The movie turned out to be a commercial as well as critical hit. Following that Abbas featured in several hit Telugu and Tamil films such as Priya O Priya Rajahamsa Raja Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu Suyamvaram and Padayappa. Ali also made a brief appearance in Hey Ram which featured superstars like Kamal Hassan and Shah Rukh Khan. Following that he delivered one of the biggest hits of his career with Kandukondain Kandukondain where he starred opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The film also boasted an ensemble cast including Mammootty Ajith Kumar and Tabu. In 2002 Mirza Abbas Ali made his Bollywood debut with the film Ansh and then featured in Aur Phir. However both films failed at the box office. Ali tried to build his career in Bollywood and started rejecting several South projects. After failing to grab films in the Hindi film industry he went on to work in South movies which later got shelved. Eventually he landed up doing few cameos and supporting roles in Telugu movies. His downfall started when many of his films failed to perform well at the box office. The actor also became bankrupt struggling to afford basic necessities like rent. In 2015 Ali left industry and moved to New Zealand. Sharing his hardships and all that he had to do to survive in abroad he said To provide for my family I worked as a bike mechanic cleaned toilets and drove taxis in New Zealand. As of now Abbas is working as a motivational speaker and has not signed any new project.
