Inspection of Raja Chakra's Property

Keonjhar: On Saturday, a team from the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the state Crime Branch conducted an inspection at the farmhouse owned by Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader Raja Chakra. This follows his recent arrest linked to financial irregularities associated with the Gandhamardan Loading Agency located in Suakati, Keonjhar district.

The inspection took place with officials from the Revenue and Forest departments present at Chakra's Gopalpur farmhouse. Reports indicate that the team was tasked with measuring the property to investigate possible encroachments and to verify the land records.

While the land is officially designated as leasehold, there are claims suggesting that part of it may have been illegally encroached upon.

Chakra's arrest stems from allegations of financial misconduct related to the operations of the agency.
