In a major setbackf for Zomato its Chief Operating Officer (COO) Rinshul Chandra has resigned from the company. Chandra considered a close-aide of Zomato founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal said he was stepping down as the COO of the online food delivery giant to pursue new opportunities and passions. As per the filing April 7 2025 (Monday) will mark Rinshul Chandras last working day at Zomato. Zomato is now Eternal Notably Zomato Ltd recently approved its name change to Eternal to mark its expanding business portfolio. In February Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal told shareholders that name change would only apply to the company not the brand or the mobile app itself. According to reports Zomatos four core verticals -- its flagship food delivery service quick-commerce platform Blinkit B2B supplies business Hyperpure and its dining-out platform District-- will now be included under the Eternal umbrella. The name change is reportedly set to come into effect on April 9 2025.
