RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam: An important update has come regarding the CBT-2 exam to be held under the CEN-01/2024 recruitment of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). Earlier this exam was to be held on 19 and 20 March 2025, but now it has been rescheduled. According to the new notice of RRB, now this exam will be conducted between 2 to 6 May 2025. This change is for those candidates whose shift was affected due to technical reasons.

The official notice states, "The second phase of Computer-Based Test (CBT) for CEN-01/2024, which was scheduled for 19.03.2025 and 20.03.2025, is now rescheduled to be held on 02.05.2025 and 06.05.2025."

Which candidates will have to take the exam again?

According to the official notice of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), all those candidates who started the examination in the first shift of 19 March 2025 but could not complete it due to technical reasons will have to appear for the exam again. Apart from this, the examination of the candidates of the second shift of March 19 and the first shift of March 20 will also be conducted again. There is no change in the exam schedule of any other candidate.

Shift Timing and Admit Card Information
The CBT-2 exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will start at 7:30 am and the second shift at 12:30 pm. An information slip giving city information will be issued to the candidates about 10 days before the exam, while the admit card will be made available 4 days before the exam date.

Be cautious of fake promises.
The Railway Recruitment Board has warned the candidates to rely only on the official website of RRB for any information related to the recruitment process. The board has said that information from unverified sources can be confusing. Also, candidates have been advised to be cautious of such brokers who make false promises of getting jobs through illegal means.

RRB has clarified that its entire selection process is done through Computer Based Test (CBT) and appointments are given only on the basis of the merit of the candidate. The board has reiterated that any kind of recommendation or bribe has no place in it.
