Mumbai: Bollywood star Sonu Sood used his wife Sonali’s recent automobile accident as a springboard to deliver a crucial message emphasising the need for seat belts for those in the rear of the vehicle.
The ‘Fateh’ actor took to his Instagram account to thank the seat belts in the automobiles for keeping his sister, wife, and nephew safe after a recent terrible accident in Nagpur.
“There is a very important message,” he remarked. My wife, her nephew, and her sister were all in the vehicle when a very serious accident occurred in Nagpur last week. The state of the automobile has been noticed by everyone on the planet. You are aware that the seatbelt was the only thing that saved them.
Sood brought up the widespread habit of sitting in the rear of the vehicle without a seat belt. On the day of the disaster, he claimed, his sister-in-law Sunita was advised to wear a seat belt by his wife Sonali, which ultimately saved their lives. The automobile catastrophe happened minutes later.
“They don’t use seat belts, especially those seated in the rear. My wife was in the vehicle that day when Sumita was seated there as well, and she requested that everyone buckle up right away. The collision occurred a minute after she buckled up. And since they wore seat belts, all three were safe,” Sonu Sood added.
He went on to say, “Ninety-nine out of 100 people who sit in the back never wear seat belts.”
The “Fateh” star encouraged everyone to buckle up, even if they are seated in the rear of the vehicle.
“They believe that only the person in front of them has an obligation to wear a seat belt. I ask everyone to use seat belts while they are in the automobile. For effect, many drivers just fasten their seat belts in front. Never clip seat belts. Additionally, they believe that they must protect them from the police; thus, it is crucial to wear seat belts in public. Believe me, please wear your seat belt if you and your family have one connected.
He went on, “If you don’t have a seat belt, you don’t have a family, regardless of who is seated in the rear. Best wishes and safe travels.
Last month, Sonali, the wife of Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, was involved in a serious traffic accident on the Mumbai-Nagpur highway.
