At Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology in the Gorakhpur area, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday officially opened and laid the groundwork for a number of development projects totaling Rs 91 crores.
CM Yogi Adityanath spoke to the assembly and emphasized India’s economic change, pointing out its historical leadership and quick advancement in the last ten years.
Known as the “Vishwa Guru,” he said that India’s economy is now the fifth biggest in the world and is expected to rise to the third in only two years.
CM Adityanath commended India’s economic expansion while acknowledging the country’s longstanding position as a pioneer in technology and education.
“In the past, India was a leader and advisor in technology and education. “They called us the ‘Vishwa Guru,'” he said.
Prior to 1600 AD, India’s proportion of the global GDP was above 30%, indicating its historical significance. India accounted for more than half of the world’s GDP by the 12th century, especially in important areas like commerce and invention.
However, when India’s riches were abused and its economy was badly hurt under British colonial control, the nation suffered a significant setback,” the chief minister said.
“The British exploited India as a source of raw materials and plucked its riches throughout their rule. CM Yogi said, “They destroyed its economy,” pointing out how colonialism had a lasting impact on India’s development.
“India has shown amazing progress and resilience in spite of these difficulties. The nation has advanced quickly during the last ten years, becoming the eleventh biggest economy in the world. It is now the fifth biggest economy and is predicted to rise to the third position in two years. India has advanced at an unparalleled rate during the last ten years. In almost every industry, you get to see something fresh,” Yogi Adityanath said.
According to him, India is now taking back its position on the international scene, establishing a new identity in a number of fields, and demonstrating its capacity to become a major economic force.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also fed peacocks on the Gorakhnath Temple grounds and engaged with youngsters during his visit to Gorakhpur.
When CM Adityanath performed ‘Janta Darshan’ earlier in the day at the Gorakhnath Mandir grounds in Gorakhpur, he listened to complaints from citizens in different state districts.
Addressing X, the Yogi Adityanath Office said “Committed to the prosperity and well-being of every individual, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Ji Maharaj today listened to the problems of people from various districts during the ‘Janata Darshan’ program at the GorakhnathMndr premises.”
“Maharaj Ji has instructed the concerned officials to prioritize and swiftly resolve public issues,” the post that was made on X.
The Gorakhnath Temple Administration said that Yogi Adityanath fed peacocks on the grounds and engaged with youngsters who were there.
CM Adityanath officially opened a Rs 1,200 crore grain-based distillery facility at the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA) on Sunday as part of the super mega project.
Chief Minister Adityanath spoke at the occasion and said that this is an ethanol factory as well as a distillery. It will initially generate 350,000 liters of ethanol per day, with plans to eventually raise output to 500,000 liters.
Since Prime Minister Narendra Modi permitted the manufacturing of ethanol from leftover sugarcane, the Chief Minister said that ethanol output had grown from 42 lakh liters to 177 crore liters.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority’s (GIDA) change under the BJP’s administration, pointing out that it has drawn over Rs 15,000 crore in investments, reversing a prior lack of interest in industrial establishment.
