Bihar police arrested a person from the house of the village head and seized weapons

Bhojpur: In collaboration with the State’s Special Task Force (STF), the Bhojpur police in Bihar made one arrest and seized one AK-47, two hand grenades, four magazines, and forty-three rounds from the village chief’s home on Tuesday.

In relation to the illicit firearms, authorities are also looking for the Superintendent of Police, another accused party.

The Bhojpur Superintendent of Police stated in a video statement that the Bhojpur police had detained Upendra Chaudhary and identified his brother Butan Chaudhary based on a complaint filed against them.

“A village was raided as part of a combined STF and Bhojpur Police operation. Four magazines, two grenades, 43 bullets, and one AK-47 have been found. In this regard, a man called Upendra Chaudhary was taken into custody, and his brother Butan Chaudhary was identified as a named culprit in the case, according to Superintendent of Police Raj. According to the police spokesman, the person who was detained is now being questioned by the police.
