It is not uncommon for actors to become politicians. Since ages there have been several; poplar names that once were seen on the silver screen but eventually drifted into politics. One such actor turned politician was once part of the Union Cabinet of the Late Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. This actor has worked in several South films from Tamil Telegu Kannada etc. He ahs signed Hollywood projects as well and has a business venture too. The actor in focus is not Rajnikanth or Chairanjeevi but Kumaresan Duraisamy better known as by his stage name Napolean. Journey From Acting to Politics Napolean was born into a middle class family. He was fifth of six children. His father was an farmer and Kumaresan used to help his father on the farm. Napoleon made his debut in the 90s with the film Pudhu Nellu Pudhu Nathu. His elder son Dhanoosh was diagnosed with muscle atrophy at the age of four. This is became one of the reasons that Napolean and his family shifted to US and settled their in a bod to get better treatment. Speaking with Times of India in 2017 Napoleon revealed “I had cut down on my acting commitments during my years as a politician but the main reason why I decided to move to the US was for my elder son (he has two sons) who has muscular dystrophy. He added “Here in the US he is studying animation in college. According to a report by News18 Hindi the actor has an approximate of net worth of over Rs 1000 crores however there is confirmation on the same. In 2000 he made a foray into the world of business. Jeevan Technologies started out as a company with a staff of merely 10 people. Today it has a global presence with offices in USA and New Zealand.
