The political flyja of West Bengal has completely changed after the Supreme Court's decision to make the appointments of 25 thousand government teachers invalid. Many organizations are even demanding the resignation of CM Mamata Banerjee. Meanwhile, Abhijeet Gangopadhyay, a judge of the Calcutta High Court judge, said on Tuesday that he would write a letter to CM Mamta requesting to form a committee, which will help in finding the system to save the job of unemployed eligible teachers.
MP Gangopadhyay also demanded from the government that the School Service Commission (SSC) should start the process of separating the OMR sheets by checking the OMR sheets from the state government -sponsored state government and more than 25 thousand teaching and non -teaching employees of government schools. He also claimed that this work can be done easily by the Commission.
The country's largest court upheld the 2024 decision of the Calcutta High Court on April 3 last week, canceling the recruitment of 25,753 teaching and non -teaching staff appointed through the 2016 SSC recruitment drive, and the court termed the entire selection process as "contaminated and tainted".
People who were unemployed by the court's decision claimed that the reason for their plight was the inability to distinguish between the candidates of SSC, who got a job through fraud.
Gangopadhyay told a prominent Bengali TV channel on Tuesday night that he would send a letter to Mamata Banerjee by tomorrow afternoon, requesting him to take immediate steps to form a committee, which will help find a mechanism to save the "eligible teachers" jobs.
Reacting positively to the proposal of State Education Minister Bharata Basu, Gangopadhyay said, "I will go to the State Education Department Headquarters Vikas Bhawan tomorrow at around 2 pm and hand over to you or any other officer or any other officer."
Earlier, Judge -turned -MP Gangopadhyay suggested that the Chief Minister set up a committee under the leadership of the Education Minister as soon as possible, so that a correct mechanism could be searched to bring the eligible teachers back into the job again.
