She once survived on just one meal a day and now resides in a luxurious bungalow worth Rs 80 crore. She is none other than the powerhouse performer Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Samantha has a carved a niche for herself not just in South cinema but also in Hindi films consistently winning hearts with her impeccable performances. But her journey to stardom was from easy. In a candid interview the actress once opened up about her early struggles saying I ate one meal a day for at least two months. I worked odd jobs. And I’m here today. If I was able to do it you can!. Back then the actress earned Rs 500 for an eight-hour shift as a hostess at a hotel. She was in class 10 or 11 at the time and started working part-time at the age of 20 due to financial difficulties. After that she went onto deliver several hits and blockbusters including Dookudu alongside Mahesh Babu Eega alongside Nani Kaththi alongside Vijay and more. She later made her digital debut into the Hindi cinema with series The Family Man and impressed everyone with her acting. Currently Samantha is one of the highest-paid actress charging Rs 10 crore per project. On the personal front Samantha married Naga Chaitanya in 2017 at the age of 30 and they divorced in 2021. After the couple announced their separation there were many conjectures around the same. It was reported that Samantha was offered alimony of Rs. 200 crores. The actress later rubbished all the reports. Last year in December Chaitanya married Shobha Dhulipala in a private Telugu wedding ceremony at Annapurna studios Hyderabad.
