Following her arrest last year for the death of her four-year-old son at a hotel in Goa, Suchana Seth, the CEO of an AI business located in Bengaluru, is now facing further accusations. While detained at the Central Jail, she is accused of attacking a female policeman.

Seth removed the inbound registration from the women’s prisoner block without authorisation on Monday, which led to the incident. Seth verbally and physically assaulted the constable while she was being questioned, shoving, kicking, and yanking her hair. Sections 352 (intentional insult to provoke) and 121(1) (voluntarily inflicting hurt on a public worker) of the Indian Penal Code are the charges against Seth.

Since January 2024, Seth has been incarcerated after the untimely loss of her son. She and her kid arrived at the Hotel Sol Banyan Grande in North Goa on January 6. On January 7, nevertheless, she abruptly ended her journey and insisted on travelling to Bengaluru via cab. At first, Seth said her kid was in South Goa with a friend, but hotel workers subsequently discovered bloodstains in her room. Later, this assertion was shown to be untrue, and Seth’s kid was found dead inside a bag she was transporting.
