'Abused, Kicked, Pulled Hair': Bengaluru CEO, Accused Of Killing 4-Year-Old Son, Assaults Woman Cop

Suchana Seth, accused of killing her four-year-old son in a Goa hotel last year, has now been booked for allegedly assaulting a woman constable inside Colvale Central Jail, according to a report. An
FIR was registered on Tuesday after the lady police constable (LPC), posted at the women's block of the jail, complained that
Seth became aggressive around 11:30 pm on Monday and took the inward register without permission while the constable was performing her duties.
A TOI report states that as per the complaint, when the constable questioned Seth, the accused "abused the complainant with filthy words and further pushed and assaulted her with kicks and pulled her hair, thereby causing her bodily injuries".
Police said the assault happened while the constable was lawfully discharging her duties.
Seth, a data scientist by profession, was arrested in January 2024 after she allegedly murdered her son in a hotel in Candolim and attempted to flee to
Bengaluru with the child’s body in a travel bag. She was apprehended before reaching her destination.
The Goa Police have filed a 640-page chargesheet in the case, recording statements from 59 witnesses. Seth remains in judicial custody.
Seth had checked into the Candolim hotel with her son on January 6. The next day, housekeeping staff discovered bloodstains in the room and alerted authorities, leading to the shocking discovery.
