The BJP government’s Mission-2027 programme calls for stepping up employment-related initiatives. Filling the open posts in different government ministries will be a major priority, as public awareness about this issue has grown. In response to public input, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has called on the government to move quickly in this direction.

The RSS has stressed the need for addressing farmers’ concerns, especially debt relief, in addition to jobs. These issues were brought up during a coordination meeting held Tuesday at Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Nirala Nagar, Lucknow, which was presided over by Dr Krishna Gopal, the joint general secretary of the RSS. The Sangh’s economic branch attended the conference together with delegates from important groups, including Sahakar Bharti, Laghu Udyog Bharti, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, and Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh.

The meeting was attended by a number of state ministers, including MSME Minister Rakesh Sachan, Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna, Labour and Employment Minister Anil Rajbhar, Cooperation Minister JPS Rathore, and Industry Minister Nand Gopal Nandi.

According to public comments, empty government positions have sparked worries since they are seen to be giving the public a bad impression. While the Kisan Sangh emphasised the mounting weight of agricultural debts, the Mazdoor Sangh raised concerns about things like contract workers’ lack of job security.

Additionally, it was suggested that debt waivers be taken into consideration once again in the future. The ministers discussed possible ways to address the problems brought up and recognised the concerns.
