How will it work?

Scan the QR Code: First of all will be a QR code in the place where your identity is required.
Face Scan: This app will open the camera, take your selfie and match the UIDAI data.
The required information will be shared: The details required for that specific verification will be shared.
This method ensures that your entire information is not shared with everyone, as if you give your Aadhaar card photocopy.

Currently in Bea: This app is currently in test mode. It is not yet available to the general public on the Google Play Store.
Beware of fake apps: If someone asked you to download the app via a call or link, be careful. Always download the app from the official source of UIDAI.
Internet connection required: This app is completely digital, so good internet speed will be required.
Limit of face identification: it may be difficult to scan the face for low light or for the elderly.
