Motorola Edge 60 Styles will be launched in India on April 17

TECH: According to the recent leak of Industry Insider Abhishek Yadav, Motorola can introduce a new edition in its age 60 smartphone lineup in India. Although the company has not officially confirmed the launch, Yadav suggests that the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus can be unveiled on 17 April. If released, the edge 60 stylus will expand the existing Motorola Edge 60 series, currently included Edge 60, Edge 60 Fusion and Edge 60 Pro.

The inclusion of built-in stylus distinguishes 60 stylus from other devices in the series. Keeping in mind the professionals, students and creatives, taking note from stylus, is expected to support digital sketching and document editing. Online -broadcasted photos show a specified compartment for stylus storage located at the lower end of the handset.

The smartphone can be equipped with a 6.7 -inch poled display that provides a 120Hz refresh rate, which increases user interactions and media consumption. Below the hood, the age 60 stylus is introduced with Snapdragon 7s Jane 2 chipset and shipped out of the box with Android 15. Photography capabilities may include a triple-camera setup including a 50MP primary sensor, 13MP wide-angle lens and video communication and 32MP front-facing camera designed for communication and selfie.

The battery is likely to be a 5,000mAh unit supported by 68W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging, which aims to reduce downtime for moving users. Although Motorola has not shared the pricing details, the leaked reports indicate the price of EUR 500, about Rs 43,600. Edge 60 fusion is already available in India, the stylus variant may be the next strategic release by the brand in the mid-drawmium category. It is expected that Motorola will make an official announcement soon.
