Salary structure according to pay level
Through the SSC CGL exam, an appointment is made in various pay-level jobs. Among these, the lowest pay level-4 salary is 25,500 to 81,100, while the pay level-5 salary goes up to 29,200 to 92,300. After this, the salary of pay level 6 starts from 35,400 and goes up to 1,12,400, which is considered the most common level.
Pay Levels and 8 for higher posts.
Pay Level-7 and Pay Level-8 apply for higher posts. In Pay Level-7, the salary ranges between Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400, while in Pay Level-8 it reaches Rs 47,600 to Rs 1,51,100.
Apart from basic pay, these include dearness allowance (DA), house rent allowance (HRA), travel allowance (TA), and other government facilities. In this way, the in-hand salary can be around Rs 45,000 to Rs 80,000 or more, which varies according to the city, post, and grade pay.
